5 /5 John G: Our attorney Kimberly Powell and our paralegal Anna Hernandez did a great job! They were prompt and straight forward. They also kept us informed throughout the 8 months our case was running. What I appreciated most is how well they got to know us and how the worked whole-heartedly in our favor. They are an excellent asset to have in an adoption case and I’m sure in any other case as well. These two are a wonderful team and they give it their all every time. The only hard part was how expensive the firm was in general. Because our case ran out longer than expected it depleted our funds but it was worth it. And they were willing to work with us through it all which was great.

1 /5 Nicole Reiswig: My experience was not great. I hired them because Kimberly Powell had represented me before while I really liked. However, now that they’ve rebranded and Kimberly is gone, the communication has been horrible. I hired David Rose to represent me on a rather simple case. We spoke on the phone maybe 3 times each time he said he would email me the case plan and budget by end of day. I never received this email. Our agreement stated he would responded to calls and emails within 24-48 hours but I’ve been waiting months. I appeared for 3 different court appearances because neither him or his office communicated the hearings had been continued. I found out from the judge. After he missed our deadline, and the above mentioned experience I decided to hire someone else. I emailed David and accounting asking for a detailed accounting of hours billed and a return of the remaining balance in my trust. I asked him to forward my case to my new attorney. Instead David withdrew from representing me to the court but did not notify me, my new attorney, send me case documents to my new attorney or send me the requested accounting or return of my funds in the trust. He did not attend a single hearing or file anything with the courts in regard to my case other than notice to appear and notice to withdraw. He is refusing to return my money. Do not hire this attorney. He is just taking money, flat out stealing without providing any services. He has no business being an attorney.

Brian’s whole team was effective and professional. Hiring Brian made all the difference in my legal battle and in my life. 10/10 would recommend and hire again!

5 /5 Michael Prout: For those of you complaining the firm is too expensive, what price can you put on the rest of your life? The best cost more. I spent a lot with this firm and yes it is very expensive. I cringe to think about how much I spent on my divorce. I did every time I wrote another check. I dont know how most people get through this financially. However, I feel I got the best in this town. Especially after seeing the performance of the opposing attorney. Kim, with all due respect, was a bulldog when she had to be and a comforting voice when I needed it. That is exactly what you need defending you in a difficult case. She never sugar coated anything and always made me understand my options. Options that were up to me to control. In fact she actually held back, appropriately, at times because plans she had in place werent necessary at the time. That shows control as well as being prepared. She explained to me the plan from A-Z hoping to be finished by mid point and never having to get to a very expensive court room. A lot of what I had to spend was due to the other party not cooperating and I had to subpoena items. But it all got done in a timely manner. There were so many times that Kim and Rose gave me FREE time to consult out of concern for ME. They always checked in to see how I was holding up and if I needed anything. Legal or otherwise. No answers went unanswered. In the long run I didnt have to spend as much as I could have. Though you cant put a price on my future as a full-time dad with my girls. Yes I have my two girls as a primary parent and am happy with all the details of it legally and personally. Above all, Rose was a huge source of emotional support from the very first phone call. She showed way more concern than she needed to. It was very helpful in getting past a very difficult time. I would spend that money again without thinking about it. They are the right choice.

5 /5 Nichole Norton: I couldnt be more pleased with Kim Powell and Anna Hernandez at Ashby Law in Walla Walla. They were very professional, yet very personable when working on my case. Both of these ladies were very timely in responding to any questions I had, and never led me astray. They really put forth effort in every way possible and I couldnt have had a better team fighting in my custody case. They are very honest, yet they keep you positive through the whole process. I cannot thank them enough.
