2 /5 Rosie: Came in today. Was treated terribly after I got taken advantage of online by a "leader" at this branch. She is so rude. Im done with your bank and transferring my funds tomorrow to another. Its too bad 1 person has ruined your reputation with me.

1 /5 Britt L: I have banked here for a long time and was very happy until I recently became a victim of a fraudulent online job/cryptocurrency sceme which I filed reports and complaints to the appropriate authorities for. However when I contacted NWPCU today to resolve the situation and report the fraud as I was advised by the local law enforcement (Snohomish County Sheriffs Office), Northwest Plus Credit Unions manager responded that it was my fault for allowing the check to cash through the next day because I assumed the check was good. Northwest Plus Credit Union did NOT hold this check according to their out of state check policy. If they had held this check, the check would have been found fraudulent and returned with no issues or losses to either party (me or NWPCU). Part of a banks job is to make sure money is not fraudulent, and to protect its consumers from fraudulent money. They have failed in both of these areas as they allowed the check through and are now claiming it is my fault for assuming the money was real and are refusing to work with me. I assumed it was legitimate because they allowed it through (not according to policy.. which I did not know was their policy at the time since they didnt mention any sort of policy like this to me at time of deposit and allowed this check through) and I assumed it was from my employer that I later found out was fake. Northwest Plus Credit Unions manager has now threatened with sending me to collections if I do not pay back the money that NWPCU failed to make sure was legitimate due to a failure in holding up their policy. Northwest Plus Credit Union did not use their out of state hold policy on this specific check. I have all receipts and conversations to prove the transactions and that I was a victim of a fraudulent scheme and they do not care. They are treating me as if I am the criminal, when I am the victim- and their failure to uphold policy allowed this ordeal to escalate to this degree. I am a very conflict free type of person but now I am having to find a lawyer just to dispute this ordeal with them. Needless to say my family members that have accounts here will be closing them and going elsewhere because of this. They are not standing up for their customers or protecting them from fraud.... only blaming them and making them pay for it. The manager literally told me it didnt matter that I was the victim. Banks are insured for fraud like this.

1 /5 Steve Tucker: How many better places are there to do your banking? Id say all of them. This is a horrible organization. We were forced to deal with NW+ when we took over my parents finances. They are inept, dishonest, and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor. Steer clear of NW+. .
