1 /5 Trista Fryer: You should only be able to leave a review and “recommend” or “not recommend” Newport Hospital if you live locally. The hospital favors tourists during tourists season and looks down upon local people with distain. You can hear them gossiping about the local people at the nurses station. Some specific examples include calling them alcoholics(“that guy is an alcoholic, his family can’t stand him”), referencing their frequency to the hospital as a hypochondriac(dismissing valid medical concerns), talking down about the local homeless(“if you feed him he’ll keep coming back”), and providing less care to those who need a shower(not taking vitals every hour and never checked in on him). I put money on about 75% of the recommendations on the reviews are from tourists who got to see a different side of Newport Hospital that local residents do not know. Staff there are judgmental and opinionated and also do not follow HIPAA rules. They are on their phones at the nurses station. Sometimes it’s actual phone call conversations, but most of the time their phones are sitting up in front of their computers so that they can mess around on their phone rather than provide care to those who deserve/need some attention. I tried reaching out to administration multiple times to express concerns personally witnessed in the hospital. Not once was one of my phone calls returned and not once was I provided with an email. The subject to avoid any potential legal repercussions for their misconduct.

1 /5 C Johnson: What a joke! First time last week they called around 10:00 am the same day as the appointment which was at 2:25. I rearranged my schedule to make sure I would have her there. I understand things happen. No big deal. But today Monday 4-21-25, the call at 2:10 pm to cancel another appointment. The appointment is at 3:10 pm. So as I am en route to her school to get her, they call to cancel. Time to find a new physical therapist. When you live in Elk, you try to give small towns your business. Well time to find another small town to give my business to.

5 /5 Debbie Cone: I found out this morning that the clinic has a Express Care. I walked in, was seen by Dr. Keith Bell with a wait no longer then if I had a appointment. Dr. Bell, checked my symptoms & I was out, just as quickly as I came in. My influenza A apparently spending too much time in my lungs. Thank you, this evening Im already feeling a tad better!!!

5 /5 McKenzie McClellan: I’ve had great experiences with the front desk and doctors. The express care doctors are pretty great! The ER has been iffy. But still helpful! Overall thankful for the listening and sympathetic doctors

1 /5 Summer Fitch: I dont mean to be rude but the lady answering the phone seems super frustrated by having to do so I just called to see if my brother was there no need to be rude update dont go to this hospital they said he wasnt there like 4 times when I called when he was at one point an they transported him to another hospital still saying he wasnt there so freaking lazy we were looking for him for 9 hours I will be calling corporate
