1 /5 Lance Pennington: I responded to a MoO refinance notice. At first the rep was fantastic, answered all my questions, responded fairly quickly. Once we got to the stage of paying off loans, debts, asking questions of how things happen the communication became very very delayed, days in-between responses. Phone calls sent to voicemail.
We signed the documents and the pay off amounts were not correct, we ended up spending thousands of dollars for pay off instead of using the funds for home improvement which is the entire reason we refinanced. Multiple times I reached out asking for clarification and requesting the amounts be changed updated , added removed and multiple times I was told dont worry use the funds you are getting to cover the difference. Now before our first house payment is due we find out the loan has already been sold to a new company. I am 7 days from the first payment and have no idea who the new loan is through.
Do your research look elsewhere for a refinance company..you are just a number to these people. They do not care or listen to you. If anyone from mutual of Omaha has questions or wants specifics please reach out I would be glad to share my horrible experience.
