Mechanics Bank - Marysville (WA)

1 /5 Kinzie Degroot: The Marysville branch has horrible customer service. They are not accommodating and made things far more difficult than they needed to be. I later called the Everett branch who took the time to answer my questions and educate me on industry verbiage and were able to get me exactly what I was looking for. I cannot speak to Homestreet bank as a whole but I would steer clear of the Marysville branch. I am a long time BECU client and cannot say enough good things if anyone is looking to switch to a credit union.

1 /5 Adirek Bunyatipanon: Before I visited this branch, I saw bad review about staffs(tellers), today, I encountered by myself, the staff working so slow and asked too many questions even she already called the payer to verify and asked me for ID but still need to ask social security, phone number, etc. The teller rudely threw back my ID even I politely talk with her. I don’t know who is manager on this branch. Thank god !!! The young lady teller didn’t ask me my birth certificate for more verification. Before giving me the cash, she asked me what kind of bills I want ? But after I told her that i needed some $1 and $5, the young lady teller asked the old lady teller if she had such bills, the old teller said no. It’s absolutely agreed how bad review from other customers on today 10/08/2024. I promised i won’t come back at Home Street Bank in this Marysville location and will tell friends and family members about this, don’t even think to be customer.

1 /5 Judy Wheeler: I have been a customer for 7 years. I really enjoyed the Banks service, friendly staff, enjoyed going to the bank. That has all changed since the old manager left, and the entire staff left all at once. They claimed that it was just a fluke of timing that the whole staff left at once The new staff has not been as proficient, friendly or customer centric. I have come to the point where the snotty attitudes and changed procedures have left me thinking that even Wells Fargo would be better, and offer better service. So much for hometown bank. They sold their mortgage business and lost their customer service quality. Seems like they will be gone from the scene, swallowed by another larger bank which offers better services. I wont miss them at all - my money is going elsewhere despite the annoyance of changing everything over, it beats the annoyance of bad service and bad attitudes. It just culminated in the manager giving me the bogus apology of "...Im sorry you feel that way" which I pointed out to her is not an apology at all but a further expression of a lack of concern for customer relations. Id rather bank at Wells Fargo, or even B of A than continue with Homestreet..................... beware of the Marysville branch!!!! If you value customer service, go elsewhere, Marysville branch at least is sorely lacking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 /5 Louis: I went into the bank this week and received both rude treatment and mis-information from a teller that seemed dis-interested and bothered in having to help me. (Maybe it was her tatoos) My wife and I, after many years at Homestreet, are looking at other banks. Too bad as they used to have friendly helpful people. Update 4/5/2022. Thanks to the District Manager Michael for reaching out to me. Had a positive conversation. Sounds like a lot of recent changes and a teaching moment for all.
