5 /5 Jac Smith: This is my first review for a product/service I ended up not buying; but the experience was so positive, I felt I should share a review.
I was unhappy with the rate increase from my existing carrier, so I called around for better rates. Because insurance companies share personal information with each other (not a fan of that practice, but nothing I can do about it), I received a couple of mailers from other insurance agents around my renewal time. I usually ignore these (because, again, not a fan), but I decided to respond to one from Leta Hankins Insurance Agency in Lakewood. I called and spoke with Noah from her office for about 40 minutes. We reviewed my existing coverage and my insurance-related priorities. Based on my input regarding my individual circumstances, he made some suggestions for additional coverage in some areas, less coverage in other areas; and in one instance, suggested I cancel one area of coverage entirely because other portions of the coverage already met my needs.
I was impressed with his knowledge of insurance and appreciated how well he listened and how thoroughly he answered my questions. I sensed that he proposed a package that would work best for my needs rather than what he would make the most profit from.
Unfortunately, their quote wasnt competitive, so I didnt go with them. But I would still highly recommend checking with them because Im sure theyre competitive with other coverage packages. And, based on my encounter with Noah, I believe that if (heaven forbid) I needed to file a claim, theyd treat me well.
