1 /5 Kristle Pipgras: I received a writ from Joseph O. Enbody for a claim that had already been settled via bankruptcy. On the writ, he left a number to a debt collector instead of his office. I called them and they refused to speak to me so I could tell them I filed bankruptcy and said that I needed to get my own lawyer. I then called the office of Joseph O. Enbody to speak to someone about how to alert their office that I filed bankruptcy and before I could even get a sentence out, the extremely unprofessional receptionist cut me off and told me I needed to call the debt collector and not him because “he won’t speak to you.” I attempted to explain to her that I already did and she cut me off again and told me, “well you need to get your own lawyer because he won’t speak to you.”
Never have I ever called any place of business and been so disrespected and not be able to speak to a lawyer or their assistant to make them aware that the account has already been dealt with.
Apparently, Mr. Enbody is too high on his horse to speak with someone or allow his assistant to speak with someone requesting to provide information about a summons.
Find a better law firm.
