5 /5 Kelly Baker-Morrison: Mark Cano was excellent these past six months handling my case in court. I was wrongly accused of Assault 4th DVl last June 30, 2018. I went to jail and bailed out the following day. The prosecuting attorney offered to amend to Disorderly Conduct and requested no additional jail. I declined and felt im too old to keep taking whatever they bully me into. I knew i am innocent so i refused the dis cond as well as the Stipulated Order of Continuance which would give me a fine as well as hold my feet to the fire for 2 more years. The prosecution even threatened me with requesting 60 days if i lost in trial because i took it that far. But this time i held firm. And prayed to God that the jurors, despite any past horror stories of domestic violence etc would rule fairly and see i did not deserve a guity verdict and that beneath larry and my crazy exterior, i, at least, love him, and would never hurt him nor allow anyone else to hurt larry. (I pity anyone who ever tries to hurt Larry cuz they will have started something they wont know how to slither out of!) Mark Cano is most professional, kind, and articulate. He is impressive in his court room style and knows the laws of this State, as welll as County and City codes too. And Federal ones and knows how they affect each other. He handled each and every ball they hurled with class and it all paid off. Thank you Mark Cano for all you did for me and thhank you for all your patience, even though i know i can frustrate anyone.
