The pictures were posted because ABC said I only had a little damage and I was trying to get my whole yard re-landscaped which was false. My review is about the runaround ABC (the insurance broker for PHS) gave me when I called and was given false information.
It is also about how I was spoken to when I called back to tell them they gave me false information and the way I was treated. That is why I am writing this review. I was yelled at, falsely accused of being a gold digger among other things and lying about the damage. When I tried to explain anything and asked for the agents name I was hung up on. All it would have taken was an honest response and an amiable conversation and I would not have written this review.They need to learn the difference between slander and libel. I did neither because it was an honest review of how I was treated when I called trying to get help since they told their client not to talk to me.
I recently had damage done to my property by PHS. I thought we were in the process of working the damage out amiable between myself and PHS. I had contacted my insurance company and they told me my home owners did not cover the damage but the PHS insurance company should. I asked the owner if they were licensed insured and bonded and he said yes. The owner of PHS contacted his insurance company and they told him to quit communication with me and not give me any information. His insurance company made no effort to call me. After I contacted many state agencies I was told PHS was insured by Phoenix Insurance and they also gave me the name of ABC Insurance. Since I still had no communication from the owner or the insurance company I called ABC and explained I wanted to talk to the insurance company about a claim against a company that they insured. It was not even going to be a big claim. The man said we dont do claims and gave me a number to call.... Phoenix Insurance. When I called them I was told PHS had not been insured by them since 2015. I then called back ABC and left a message. He called me back. Without looking at my property after PHS contacted him, or listening to me he started yelling at me, telling me he was going to tell me how "we do things", called me a gold digger among many other unfavorable things, telling me his client talked to a "expert" salesperson at Lowes. That is when I interrupted him. I told him I had hired a ASCA Arborist ($150.00) to exam and write a report about the damage. I took samples to WSU Spokane County Ext. Master Gardeners, and to plant Specialist at Northwest Seed and Pets and got written statements from both of those places. He started yelling at me again and I asked him for his name. He hung up on me. That was our one and only communication about what should have been a simple and not very expensive problem. I did not want my yard re-landscaped like he accused me. I just wanted it to look nice again just where there was damage. I have had no contact with the owner of PHS or ABC Insurance since that call. That leaves me with chasing down state agencies for help, filing a claim against ABC with the State Insurance Commissioner for lying about who insure PHS and not making their insurance information available since he has decided to deny all access to me. I have had no compensation for any of the damage (In fact I paid for the year in advance) I worked patiently with PHS waiting to see what would recover and what wouldnt. I paid for removal and disposal of dead plant material PHS did not remove...and they removed a lot. I have paid for reports and spent considerable time taking samples to experts in their field and taking time to have people come to my house and see it first hand and explain what and how it went wrong.
