1 /5 Slava: I hired this firm for my divorce case, and my experience was extremely disappointing. They initially assigned a junior staff member to my case who appeared inexperienced and struggled to handle key aspects effectively. That person left the firm about two months in, and the case was reassigned to Jose. By then, in my opinion, significant damage had been done to my position. Opposing counsel dominated the case, despite my starting in what I believed was a stronger position than my ex-spouse.
Communication with Jose was also challenging. Messages sent via their portal often went unanswered for days, and phone calls were rarely returned promptly. On multiple occasions, I waited a week or more for relatively small tasks to be completed. Once, I even visited the office in person after receiving no response for over a week. I also found that documents prepared by him contained numerous errors, so I had to carefully proofread them myself.
Billing was another major issue. The firm charged for every call, message, and minor action, which added up quickly. In my view, the final bill was excessive for what was, in the end, a simple uncontested divorce case.
Going through a divorce is stressful, and I had hoped for support and responsiveness from my legal team. Unfortunately, my experience with this firm added to my stress rather than alleviating it.
