1 /5 Dominique Williams: I would’ve put zero stars but that wasn’t an option. I paid $11,000 and my attorney did not view any of the evidence until I scheduled a meeting to discuss it with him. The guy that did the intake gave me this whole speech about turning in a binder full of my credentials (resume, photos and reference letters.) after five months of being on my case I asked my attorney if he had looked at all of that information. I heard him clicking around on his computer and then he said “oh that’s a lot of stuff “. That was literally the first time he had ever seen it. Lazy and unprofessional. I printed everything out myself and took it to the prosecutor’s office. My attorney also played video games on his phone during court. He didn’t do much other than lip service and no one from Texas Criminal Defense Group held him accountable for the stuff that he didn’t do. In addition to that I paid all that money when I could’ve gotten the same result for $3000 and an attorney that actually acted like they gave a crap. Oh, I almost forgot, my attorney missed court one time so I took off work just to find out that he was out of town. He ended up changing jobs and going to work in Monahans. The new attorney also gave me a bunch of lip service and said that he would look over the evidence and get back to me, but did not. I ended up going to my last court date and just accepting the offer because it had already been a year and a half with an attorney that was blatantly not doing his job. Biggest waste of $11,000 ever.
