1 /5 Vladimir Jigounov: Trucking insurance. Two weeks after getting downpayment, agency suspended policy stating that there was misspelled VIN number in traffic ticket. After presenting multiple tracking apps, pictures, permit received at that exact time and verified by exact same police officer insurance was reinstated. While policy was suspended we lost some customers and had to sell one truck.
Then agency said that policy was financed by 3rd party financial company and even though we going from 2 trucks to 1 we will have to still pay for two trucks (double) for 90 days because they take time to calculate new price. How much would it cost for these 3 months after calculating - probably less than $4900 you paying for two trucks, but we are not sure. You pay 3 months and we will decide how much for these 3 months later. Or cancel policy and say goodbye to $7000 downpayment.
Several months later we closing business. Agency tells us you will be getting billed until you come up with some forms that we dont know how to obtain without spending thousands of dollars.
We are requesting help from State Insurance Commissioner to just get out of this now - we cant believe its legal.
