Prosperity Bank - Granbury - Granbury (TX)

1 /5 Mica stevens: This has to the absolute unprofessional establishment I have ever been to. The employees are incredibly rude and spiteful. My first and last time I will use this bank. They treat you as if you are a waste of space. I went in to this place yesterday for one thing, it was supposed to be easy in and out. I greeted the lady at the counter and gave her the money and what I needed. I am a very anxious person so I am always kind so that nothing goes wrong… well this employee basically treated me as if I was ignorant. I had told her this was for my place of employment. So five minutes pass while standing there.. she and two other employees are talking to each other about me as if I am not there. Then when I asked what was going on because she had put the money back in front of me. She didnt have the courtesy of telling me what I needed to do so this man comes up and states they would not be helping me until they have an owner call them. So as confused as I was I went to my car and called my boss as they had REQUESTED I walk back in to give her my phone. SHE REFUSED to talk on the phone. Honestly she has the audacity to say I’m not speaking to her.. so while I’m on the phone with my boss we are so confused. Finally the man comes back out and states they HAD received a phone call and they can help me now… so I wait another 5 minutes standing at this lady’s counter when I finally ask so can I have it done? She looks at me and says I’m helping someone else you will just need to wait.. she had me standing there looking a damn idiot instead of informing what I needed to do. After that the lady next to us said she could help me. I will make sure everyone I know aware of this and I will tell my employer how they treat their customers. Oh and the one thing I needed was a damn CASHIER CHECK! Do better!

1 /5 Chuck Licata: Time to update that review from 2016. I banked at Prosperity in Liberty Hill (TX). That staff was phenomenal, they were very service-oriented and caring. I had an incident (sometime between 2016-19) where I was scammed through my Prosperity checking account in Liberty Hill and the Prosperity folks there were helpful.. but I still owed the amount of money I was scammed. So I visited the Prosperity Bank here in Granbury. I explained the incident to the Account manager here and told her I was ready to pay that amount of $$ up, and possibly open a new account. She said shed double-check the amount I owed off the scam, and "get back to me within a day or 2." She took down my phone number and had my e-mail account. Well, today is 8/11 and its been OVER 2 weeks since she said shed get back to me. What a shame. Maybe Ill visit the branch here sometime and get the account evened up... but Im REALLY disappointed with the lack of follow up, especially since I had such good service and karma with the Liberty Hill office years ago.

1 /5 Christopher Dimock: If you like to be insulted by bank staff and basically told "yes, bank with someone else," then this is the branch for you. I am closing my accounts with them and will bank solely with my other financial institution from here on out. Incredibly rude staff and I advise anyone thinking of banking with Prosperity to go to the bank across the street, but definitely avoid this branch like the plague.
