1 /5 Kittee Kat: The marion county DA highly recommended Chase as I am for the 1st time in life going through the loss of a parent to whom I am the only heir. Chase and I initially spoke on Nov. 5th. He was very cordial, professional, informative & even gave me information and insight on things that would further help me along in the process. I was quite excited to have found him. During our conversation Chase told me his fees and the process & that he would email me and snail mail me an application to get things going. More than a week passes and I hear nothing nor received anything from his firm. I called & spoke to Rebecca & explained things to her. Rebecca has been the sweetest & quickly apologized and promptly sent me an email including Chases email so that I could keep in contact with the firm and send any necessary documents to get my case going. I emailed the firm all documents I felt may be helpful in the matter on the 14th. As of this morning, Nov. 18th, I had heard NOTHING. At this point I wasnt even sure if Chase was still going to handle my case, so I called the office & told Rebecca (who was still just as sweet as ever and very apologetic) that I needed to know what I need to do next as I hadnt heard or received anything and needed to get this going. He told me things had been crazy there since i initially called. Im unsure as to what she told Chase prior to connecting me to him, but he definitely was NOT the same kind gentleman I spoke to initially. He had a nasty tone in his voice as if he was aggravated or angry about something. I basically tried to explain to him what I explained to Rebecca. However, Chase kept cutting me off and continued to speak to me as though I was beneath him & aggravating him. He proceeded to say that he cannot expedite the process in the manner that I expected (I wasnt asking for expidition) and that perhaps I should find counsel elsewhere. Again I tried to explain that that was not what I expected, but was quickly cut off but with a slightly more elevated tone at which point I felt was a waste of time as he would not even listen to me so I hung up on him. Below is his respone:
Ms. Dunlap,
I have received your email dated November 14, 2024 with documents from Penny at Vera Bank. As you and I discussed by phone this morning, I am unable to get to this matter as timely as you would require. As such, as I was trying to tell you this morning on the phone, I am unable to work on this matter at this time and will need to decline the opportunity to assist you. Thank you for contacting our firm.

I strongly do not recommend this attorney. He is a Dr Jekyll, Mr Hyde type individual. You dont know which one you will end up with at any given time.
