1 /5 Misty Gilbert: This title company is the most unorganized, inefficient and difficult firm to work with. From the get go to the final end, they were scrambling to complete the tasks that are their responsibility.
They didnt order the survey until 3 weeks into the contract, 1 week before we were supposed to close, They didnt order the survey for the entire property, only a portion of it. Additionally, the day of closing, we had to beg for an updated closing statement, and when they sent it over, it was wrong. Finding mistakes that should have been caught by the title company who does this every day shows you the level of their incompetence. On top of the fact that the final closing statement got sent exactly 1 hour before closing, with their full knowledge that we were an hours drive from this location too, which made us late for the closing and added unnecessary last minute stress that could have been avoided as our closing was known a week in advance! We are now 1 month out since closing and still dont have final documents.
This title company is not proactive or problem solvers. They spend more time making excuses than getting things done, lacking a servant heart to create a positive experience for the customer. They will not treat you the way they would want to be treated if they were in your shoes.
This was my 7th property transaction and by far, was entirely the most stressful and frustrating experience. I absolutely dont recommend you use this branch. If you do, expect a difficult experience and double check them on everything.
