1 /5 My Voice: ✭ ✭ Warning to all Veterans ✭ ✭ Mark Sjostrom, a veterans financial advisor, appears to lack the necessary skills to effectively manage financial matters for veterans, potentially leading to avoidable costs. Furthermore, instructors at Navarro College often come across as condescending toward students, fostering an uninviting atmosphere. In my experience, this institution seems to prioritize financial gain over meaningful support for veterans. Additionally, the financial department shows a concerning lack of transparency regarding fees, raising suspicions of potential mismanagement or improper practices.The Dean and the President doesn’t seem to care unless it fills their pockets this institution should be investigated by the education department.

3 /5 D.E. R: ***Update***** Mrs. Alfaro got back to me and helped in such a great way directed me and helped me. So if yall need help give her a call. And Gracie is awesome too shes an advisor. Does anyone know who we can complain to when Registrar and Admissions do not answer nor return calls. How are we as future students supposed to enroll if we can not get ahold of anyone. When we go in person, they just give me emails and numbers to call that no one .

1 /5 Matthew Gonzales: My first day of college during the start of 2023 DID NOT get off to a good start! The lady who I assumed was the professor of my only algebra class was completely lost and had no clue what she was doing at all! It was as if she was acting like a substitute! Later in the semester she was in my tutorial class “subbing” for my real professor and said to everyone that she WASN’T a MATH PERSON! Everybody including me was like WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE!? The biggest lesson I learned at the end of 2023 is that it’s important to drop certain classes when there’s someone who appears to be really lost. Every student should know that they CANNOT teach themselves something they DON’T KNOW! Despite having a rough start I still managed to succeed in my other classes where there were real professors that assisted me with my studies.

5 /5 Susan Baker: The Dean of Students Kristin Walker went out of her way to ensure that my daughter got into the program she wanted. When we had trouble with financial aid, she personally went with us to the aid office and made sure that the paperwork was submitted. Her compassion and kindness was very welcoming and it made us feel this organization truly cares about its students. There customer service went above and beyond. Great Job Navarro College!!!

5 /5 Ruth Erato (Erato): So far this branch has been helpful and accommodating. Classes are small and personal. Professor Ive had has been very informative and helpful to the students. The registration staff are polite and courteous. All my questions have been answered in a timely manner and Ive had no issues. I took a break from UTA to work on some classes here and its been really beneficial.
