1 /5 Ana Marie Cruz: The worst representation you could hire. Especially if you’re a person of color. He is a racist and will absolutely not fight for you. Minimum effort is all you get here. No heart for the people. My case was an open shut case with a non guilty guaranteed verdict. He made it seem like I needed to plead otherwise and take unnecessary consequence. Never once thought I was innocent and I was.

5 /5 Skyler Wooten: After two horrible experiences with family law attorneys, but not willing to give up the fight for my son, I decided to give Matthew Hill an opportunity. My initial consultation I was on the defense with Mr. Hill because of my frustration with my divorce decree and an ex who I felt was breaking the decree left and right and “getting away with it”. I was very open about what I wanted changed (and it’s quite a bit) but most importantly wanted my son to come to school with me, as I am a teacher. He was quite blunt, telling me what I wanted would need to happen in steps, if at all, and he can’t guarantee the outcome. Frustration set in again, but didn’t last long. After multiple phone calls/emails (that were ALWAYS answered right away) *** Thank you Tina (she is very knowledgeable and empathetic) *** we were able to have a court date to set a temporary hearing. Hill was professional, calm and very prepared. 3 hours later, my son is now enrolled at my school and the rest of the details played out in my favor as well. We are still working on other issues and Tina and Matt have continued to be just as responsive, professional and “in my corner” as they were from the beginning. I couldn’t be more thankful.

Hill and the wonderful folks that work with him to help me address a very difficult and hostile post-divorce property division and enforcement case that was filed against me. I can’t commend them enough for the extraordinary efforts and insights navigating my situation, and the professionalism and attention that they gave to me and my case. The process was very difficult and complex. During the entire period that we were dealing with this Matthew was in constant contact with me, I never felt abandoned or out of the loop, they communicated with me and stayed on top of things perfectly. I’m not new to divorce, custody, property settlements, or similar family law matters unfortunately. I have had some great attorneys along the path and unfortunately some really incompetent ones; Matthew rates right there at the top. He was efficient so that my legal fees didn’t run up and cost me more than necessary to successfully resolve my case. Matthew always gave me the sense that he knew exactly what he was doing, and that if, God forbid, we were to end up in trial, there was no doubt in my mind that we would have won our case in court. Fortunately for me we were able to resolve the dispute and arrive at an amenable resolution without going to trial. That is not an easy outcome to obtain against the odds that I was facing. Long hours including weekends and evenings when necessary; hard to find an attorney that will go to those lengths these days. 5 /5 Jason Johnson: Mr. Hill and his staff have done an excellent job for my initial use and I used him again when my ex-wife took me back to court trying to get it allowed for the boyfriends to spend the night. They were thorough with my case and explained any questions I had to my satisfaction. If I need a family law attorney in the future to deal with anything else he will definitely get a call from me.
