1 /5 D Me: Its been a month and no money for short term disability. My adjuster took 3 weeks to talk to me 1 time all bc i bugged the crap out of her. Ive called today and requested a supervisor call back for the 3rd time. Nothing is getting done and due to being a single mom paying the bills ive had to resort to getting food pantry food and taking out my 401k just to pay bills and medical expenses.

1 /5 Mariah Salcedo: I was gone for maternity leave and they stopped paying me after the 3rd check, because they needed my medical records. Now that they received them apparently it does not cover it. It’s been 5 months and they barely called me to tell me it was declined. I called several times to get an update, every time I called I let them know it was due to pregnancy and I now had my baby so they would be aware. Never did they say it could be a possibility that it would be declined. Again, it’s been 5 months of going back and forth and they barely called me to tell me it got declined. Horrible communication.

1 /5 Fatima Martinez: They charged my husband every pay period but it’s a hassle to get them to pay our dental claims because when the dentist office calls they claim we don’t have coverage. Every single time I call they say we do have coverage (even ortho) when the dentist calls we magically don’t.
