Keep in mind when working with any lawyer (or anyone in life for that matter), communication is very important on both sides of the relationship, you can’t just expect a lawyer to know what you’re thinking, what you want, or need.

1 /5 Tami Baumann: Kerr Court appointed her to be my, 86 year old moms “attorney ad Leitum.” Despite three doctors evaluations, court pending, guardianship pending, Luna allowed mom to be moved out of her home “on a trial basis” knowing mom wished to live in her home, as documented in court. Has Luna remained impartial to adult children? She approved of the removal of mom and her furniture from moms beautiful ranch home, by one adult child, despite moms request to live in her home. Caregiver funding is readily available for part time help for mom in her home, but instead has been placed in an apartment/assisted living 60 miles away from her home. Please call me if you have any questions about Melinda Luna, prior to hiring her. Go meet Luna in person if you’re hiring her privately, you can form your own opinion of her capabilities. Luna gets paid by Kerr County because the court assigns her to “protect” people she’s representing.

1 /5 Lovely Ria: Not helpful so far at all, Im sure most of the issue is she is court appointed however I feel a lawyer should be taking their job seriously especially on a case that is so obvious the person is innocent. I have not sat down in her office with her yet, she has only spoke with me on my court dates. I will update after I can get in her office and meet with her. She is a pleasant woman with a nice attitude, might be a good lawyer if she is not court appointed

1 /5 Michael Vega: i do not recommend her at all ! she puts in very little effort and doesnt seem to know her way around. and in court seems to be shy and soft spoken. not the traits I want in a lawyer.
