1 /5 Jorge Ruiz: Hello, as you can see many of the low ratings come from clients that didnt even make it to the lawyers desk, mainly I believe that she can not handle these types of cases, it seems that this firm only takes the simple paperwork cases when there isnt any type of court time involved. I also came to them with a case involving some court time, and the receptionist was the one that determined if they would take the case or not, mind you all of this happened within 2 minutes of the call. My conversation didnt even make it to her attention. So if you have a more difficult case, dont call this lawyer. It seems she only takes small, simple, and fast cases. Also l bet this review gets a robot response, saying how rude I was and all the same excuses all the other reviews get, always defending and justifying why they did what they did. Sad face, my opinion, sad face As I said, this firm does not take on big cases just simple cases, on top of all this this form charges 100 dollars for every time you talk to them, you dont have to pay, there are other forms that do better and dont charge you for talking over the phone, you dont have to pay.

However, since immigration laws are constantly changing, I urgently needed up-to-date information regarding my plan to file a petition. I had an appointment on August 6th, 2025, at 2 p.m with a male attorney. Before the appointment, I was asked to pay $100, which is a significant amount for me. After payment, someone called to collect my information. Since my English very limited, I specifically asked—three times—that the attorney review and provide answers to my alternative questions, and I was assured not to worry. When I finally met with the attorney, he seemed completely unaware of everything I had explained over the phone. He appeared rushed, as if there was an emergency and told me, “I’ve already seen you for 30 minutes and have another client waiting.” He then said that if I needed more help, I would need to book another appointment. I was very disappointed and wrote this experience hopefully, no one had the same experience like me.

1 /5 Nathy: Don’t quite know what to say, my husband has a current case all hes received which we are thankful for is his work permit, but we were just told this week nobody has worked on his case, immigration matters are very scary and delicate yet noone has given us responses. We are trying our best to get a consultation with the lawyer but her receptionists keep putting our calls on hold or transferring with no answer. It’s been two and a half years since he hired, but as of yesterday they told him noone has worked on his case, with no explanation.

5 /5 Martha Lerma: Laura Leon provides very affordable prices compared to other immigration attorneys. I needed an extension to make payments and she gladly gave me more time to pay for her services. She explained to me the whole process required for my case and the timeline that I needed to follow. She also prepared me for my interview with an immigration officer and offered to be on the phone or in person if I requested so. Overall, the service is excellent and I got my residence and I will obtain my citizenship with her.
