Not to mention the store’s signature scent, that will appeal to your senses in a way that is not expected for a jewelry store. The ladies who work there are friendly and welcoming, offering help, a drink or snack while you browse or take advantage of the complimentary jewelry cleaning. Southern Gem did an amazing job on the repair of my wedding ring. I also had them make a duplicate of my wedding band and I can not tell which is the original and which is the new. My rings were returned to me in perfect condition and sparkling like I had not seen them sparkle in years. I highly recommend shopping here and utilizing their jeweler services. My mom took in several pieces of costume jewelry that needed repair and Greg was able to fix them while we waited! He checked all the welds under his microscope to make sure that her jewelry was in good shape, and cleaned them as well. The store hours are by appointment only, assuring that the customer has Greg and Kanaes full attention while there. From the repair of sentimental costume jewelry to the design of high-end jewelry art, this store does it all! The store is a great addition to Georgetown and we will definitely be back.
