Mya Grigsby Writing this review on behalf of my parents. In 2010, we hired Don Hector to represent my brother—and to this day, it remains one of the most devastating decisions we made. He did absolutely nothing to advocate for my brother. There was no fight in him, no belief in his client. All he saw was a young Black man, and he allowed the system to swallow him whole without resistance. Fifteen years later, we’re still fighting for the justice my brother never received. Don Hector, you may not even remember the case, but I hope you understand the lasting damage you’ve done. What was just another case on your docket has permanently altered the course of a young man’s life—and torn through a family still trying to pick up the pieces. You failed him, and we will never forget it.
