1 /5 Alissa Ekl: My parents went to this attorney for help in terminating a contract and he has done nothing. At first he talked to them but now he does not return any phone calls and is conveniently out of the office when they try to go see him. I even tried to call him and received no return call. I have to agree with what TLJ wrote on the reviews. Thankfully, we did not wait long to write this attorney off.

First of all there were no reviews of this attorney anywhere online until I left this negative and honest review from my families experience. My review was the very first until recent. I have other family members that were involved and they could also leave their reviews as well but havent since I posted mine. They find my review sums up what happened and what needed to be said. I find it interesting that a few months after leaving my review all of the sudden people started leaving 5 star reviews for this attorney. Some didnt even bother to write anything. Anyone with common since can see what is going on here. These other reviews are from people who are friends with this attorney and or probably work in the legal field. Please keep reading my honest review is below, thank you. When my family and I first met Mr. Hankins we thought he was competent and was going to be a decent attorney. As the case dragged on and on for two years we started to realize we made a bad choice in hiring this attorney. He made promises that he could not keep. He said he was going to do this and that but would never follow through. He was supposed to put in a breach of contract suit for the party we were in the law suit against since they would not follow through with the agreement, but never did. He kept on cutting more and more deals. Started making decisions before talking them over with us. A few times he would counsel us and told us we needed to do this and it would help our case. As soon as we followed his legal advice he called and said he made a terrible mistake and the advice he gave us was incorrect. He made plenty of rude comments and even mentioned he would rather defend the person we were in the law suit against due to the fact we were too honest. What kind of attorney is this we asked! Thought honesty was the best policy especially when it came to the Law. When the case was finally over he collected more money than we his client received. He even added an extra cost for the breach of contract suite that he never even filed and made a few extra thousand off that. This attorney just proves how we all feel about attorneys in general. 5 /5 Meg Mitchell: One of my favorite things about this grand country is our ability to implement freedom of speech. The previous commenter used his freedom to leave a negative review regarding his experience with Mr. Hankins; however, I would like to take a few moments to commend Mr. Hankins legal abilities. Not only is he an incredibly competent lawyer, he also genuinely cares about his clients and exemplifies this in numerous ways. I recommend Mr. Hankins for legal council and I will continue to use him, as well.
