1 /5 Jocelyn Gaytan: I am first time buyer and was looking to get a car. Unfortunately the car purchase didn’t go through however the agent I got set up with so I could get my refund. In the beginning of the transaction there is a deposit of $389 and no mention of fees were told that were included in that price. I tried canceling multiple times with my agent although he kept trying to help me find a car but there was no luck. When I finally said I want to cancel and stop looking for cars, I asked if there was any cancellation fees he said no. Progressive only refunds me $258 (that’s a $130 difference). I texted the agent and he said he would look into but there was no update. I called today and spoke with Edith. She was not helpful. She chuckled when I was said I wasn’t aware or told of any fees. She said it’s how agencies work in a smart tone. She even mentioned herself that I was a new business (new customer) and I expressed that I was a new buyer and new customers should be informed of these fees. She dismisses me and says “well there isn’t anyone who you can talk with right now”. Would rate 0/0 if I could.
