5 /5 Joe Jaworski: Eddie Walsh has done my and my wife’s joint tax filings, our household employee tax filings and my law firm’s taxes and financial statements for over twenty years. His work is professional, his advice is extremely valuable and he always has time for me. It’s noteworthy that he is a third generation Galveston CPA, following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, and he has been a loyal friend to many and public servant to the City of Galveston, serving several terms on the Galveston Park Board and Galveston Wharves Board. I would recommend Eddie and his firm to any potential customer. As a tax payer who works very hard for my earnings, I want to know my filings are done correctly and on time. Edward J. Walsh and Associates take care of all of that for me and my family. Five Stars.

1 /5 A Google User: Here is my experience with Mr. Edward Walsh, CPA: 1) I asked him to prepare my taxes and sent him all documents. 2) He missed the deductible expenses I sent to him and prepared return as if I didnt send it. 3) When I met with him, I told him about these expenses and he found it in my first email. However, he said I should still go with standard deductions. 4) After I filed taxes with his recommendation, he contacted me to suggest itemization is better and file an amendment. 5) After preparing, he charged more than double the amount we initially agreed on stating it took him "longer time" to file amendment. 6) When explaining that amendment was because of him missing documents I sent him, he was not appropriate. 7) Although, I paid him what he asked for in full, he was still inappropriate and it was one of my life worst experiences. I had to call the police. I wish Google gives a zero star review as I dont believe he deserves even one star.
