Echo Asiral I don’t ever give online reviews, but I had to leave a review here, because my attorney, Patrick, really came through for me in a way I didn’t expect. In our meetings, he was super quiet, mellow, and kind of hard to read. I wasn’t sure what to think at first—he didn’t show all his cards, and I found myself doing most of the talking, which made me a little nervous. But before my own court date, I happened to see Patrick representing another client in a public setting, and I was really impressed with how confidently and clearly he made his case. That was the first time I saw him in action, and it completely shifted my perspective—I knew I was in good hands. I walked away thinking, okay, this guy’s the real deal. When it came time for my case, he absolutely delivered. He was calm, collected, and fierce in the courtroom. Layla Loera Weve been contemplating this review because its been difficult to put into words just how appreciative and thankful my mother and I are of Mr. Ben Raia and his legal team. Mr. Raia and his team listened to our story and guided my mom through the turmoil that came from gaining custody of my nephew. Although the challenge, they did not shy away from assisting and answering my moms unexpected calls and texts while providing as much guidance as possible. Steve Bolgiano Mr. Jenkins is a very out standing man with impeccable character. He graduated from Baylor law school and I think served on the board of regents at Baylor University. My cousin also graduated from Baylor and he too, is a respected man in Ellis county. I have decided to post this review so anyone else in Ellis county that gets him as a court appointed attorney can read this. I can tell you without a doubt that he will NOT represent you and that he does exactly what the DA tells him to. All attorneys are officers of the court first, and represent their clients second. But in my opinion, he is an officer of the court and does exactly what the DA wants regardless of the best interest of his "client." I was prepared to pay the top of the scale as far as the fine goes ($4,000) spend some time in jail, and be done with my mistake in Ellis county. But on my court date, it was "crammed down my throat " that I would pay a $950 fine with 2 years probation. Like I told him the first day we met, I, Steve Bolgiano am not a candidate for probation, but here I am. So if my probation gets "violated," I wonder if he will represent me for free. I seriously doubt it. Good luck to you.
