1 /5 Bruce Schwartz: They had completed my tax returns for almost 20 years and I always paid my fees on time. I was always pleased with their work. They changed their billing to make me pay monthly in advance of my taxes being completed which I never heard of considering it was only $500 a year. Then they said they were going to increase my fees to $1000 a year. I had advised them my returns would be simple since I just retired. Also every time you asked them a question which was not often they would bill me. I think they are focused on working with small businesses and this year I found a new CPA who did a great job for $400. I also referred many people to them over the years. I can’t believe how they treated me. I would have never treated a long time customer like this in my professional career.

1 /5 Julie Anderson: Fees are charged on a quarterly basis, but when questions are asked and further explanations are requested, nothing is given. When questioned how they arrived at the estimated tax payment amount given, they responded that they “eye balled” it. Asked for further explanation or a phone call to discuss, was never given any additional information, just excuses of how busy they were and that they didn’t have time to look at my tax information since I had an outstanding K1, even though all of my other tax documents had been submitted in early February. I continued to push for further explanation since the amount Turbo Tax was quoting was $10k less than they had said I needed to pay. I also had another CPA review my information and her amount was the same as what I came up with and she was able to do it in 15 minutes, not sure why this firm couldn’t. They would never give me a further explanation, but had plenty of time to email me excuses. When I requested my services be cancelled and send me a refund of the quarterly payments they charged, I was told my extension had already been filed WITHOUT MY APPROVAL. I asked why it was filed without my authorization and that I had already filed it myself, I was told they actually hadn’t filed it. I asked again for a refund but was told they had already provided services to me and would send me what was left. I then requested an invoice stating what I was charged for, but have yet to receive anything. This firm charges up front for services that they do not provide. DO NOT RECOMMEND and will happily provide correspondence that supports what I have stated and proves how unprofessional this firm and their employees are.
