I attempted to withdraw a small amount of cash and was denied access to my own funds, with the CEO citing a “security policy.” After expressing my concerns, I was shocked to receive a call from a police officer two days later informing me that my account would be closed. It’s concerning that rather than addressing a customer issue directly, the bank escalated it in this manner.
Please be cautious — any disagreement, even minor, may be met with extreme measures.
That said, the staff themselves were kind and professional — they were simply following directions. My issue is with the policies and upper management decisions.
