We hired Marcus Beaudin the end of September 2024 for a termination of rights, and adoption. And the case was completed yesterday December 20, 2024! These guys move FAST as long as the courts and such permit it. Marcus, and Dena (his paralegal) were absolutely AMAZING! They were easy to reach, and always responded to messages quickly. They did so well updating us every step of the way. They were kind, compassionate, and non judgmental of our situation. And just as happy as we were to see the end result and by CHRISTMAS, which is what we were hoping for. They were able to get us into the court room in front of a judge the same week that all steps were completed. And just days away from Christmas. It was important to these guys to ensure we got the Christmas Miracle we hoped for! The entire process was fast, smooth, and painless! We believe we got more than our moneys worth with this law office. We trusted them, and loved them so much that we already retained them again for the next journey with my step son! Steve Bolgiano Mr. Jenkins is a very out standing man with impeccable character. He graduated from Baylor law school and I think served on the board of regents at Baylor University. My cousin also graduated from Baylor and he too, is a respected man in Ellis county. I have decided to post this review so anyone else in Ellis county that gets him as a court appointed attorney can read this. I can tell you without a doubt that he will NOT represent you and that he does exactly what the DA tells him to. All attorneys are officers of the court first, and represent their clients second. But in my opinion, he is an officer of the court and does exactly what the DA wants regardless of the best interest of his "client." I was prepared to pay the top of the scale as far as the fine goes ($4,000) spend some time in jail, and be done with my mistake in Ellis county. But on my court date, it was "crammed down my throat " that I would pay a $950 fine with 2 years probation. Like I told him the first day we met, I, Steve Bolgiano am not a candidate for probation, but here I am. So if my probation gets "violated," I wonder if he will represent me for free. I seriously doubt it. Good luck to you.
