1 /5 musa musayev: Review for Miguel Garcia –Branch Manager I had a very disappointing experience with Miguel Garcia, the branch manager. He did not make any effort to understand our request and immediately said it was not possible to open a new account for a new immigrant to the USA with a Green Card. When I explained that this was not my first time opening such an account at this same branch—and that many of my newly arrived friends had successfully opened accounts here—his response was rude and dismissive. Instead of reviewing our documents or trying to find a solution, he repeatedly said it was impossible and that he could not help us. I then told him that I would simply go to another Bank of America branch, and that is exactly what I did. Just 10 minutes away, another banker at a different branch reviewed the documents we had, opened a checking account for my friend, and even issued a secured credit card with a $500 limit—quickly, efficiently, and without any unnecessary obstacles. That banker’s professionalism and knowledge were excellent, and we truly appreciated the way he handled everything. Unfortunately, Miguel Garcia’s lack of professionalism, unwillingness to assist, and rude attitude left a very negative impression of this branch.

5 /5 Grail Saki: Outstanding experience with specialist, Fiona. Would definitely go to her for future banking needs. Facility was clean, greeted by front on arrival. Though they didn’t have a sign in sheet so who arrived first may cause confusion. Teller was courteous.

1 /5 Mohammad Yousef: Bank of America is one of those bank out there, and it is very difficult to deal with. And this particular branch is one of the worse. It took 3 days to set an appointment and to to have someone to speak to us. If you don’t have an account with them and you try to open an account, then two ID’s would be sufficient. However, if you do have an account already and you try to open additional account, then you need two ID’s and ability to login to your mobile app and all additional security questions and possibly someone to vouch for you if necessary. If you are someone don’t have the mobile app installed on your phone or use your computer to login to your account, then you are screwed and they cannot help you. If you go to any federal agency, your government ID would be sufficient to establish your identification. This is not the case with BOA. I simply walked out, closed all my accounts with them and established new accounts with another bank who is glad to have my business.

1 /5 arshak hamid: I visited the BoA branch on 05/03/2025 at 11:05 AM and had to wait over 30 minutes in line. There were only two tellers available—one had a broken internet connection and the other had a malfunctioning printer. The service was disorganized and painfully slow. When it was finally my turn, I asked to cash a check. The teller verified the check, but when I told her I had no choice but to wait due to the delay, she smirked and said she could only deposit it into my account—not cash it. This felt dishonest and manipulative. Later, I went to a different Bank of America branch, and they informed me that they could have cashed the check—but now, because the previous teller had stamped it for deposit, it was no longer possible. This experience was unacceptable. It’s clear that not only is the infrastructure broken, but the customer service is as well. I expect better from a national bank. CLOSED MY ACCONT on 05/03/2025 same day.
