1 /5 Vilma Garcia: I purchased insurance with them over a month ago. I was told a price that was in my budget and started policy, i thought everything was fine up until i was going to make my monthly payment. Turns out it was double what i was quoted, i refused to pay the amount because it was not what i was promised. They told me to give them some time to figure out what happened and that they would call me back. I waited 2 days , no call back…. I called them spoke to several agents and nobody had an answer for about a week. Finally some agent said it was a mistake that was made on the person who sold me the policy. I wanted to cancel because NO. How are they gonna sell me a policy that i couldnt even afford? Long story short they handled my policy with poor communication, errors and time wasted that I had to pay for. I called HR in dallas to file a complaint against the agent that sold me the policy and here we are a month later still no call back. I was stuck with no insurance and money thrown away that i could have used elsewhere. They were rude and annoyed by my persistence. After all it was my policy and they could careless what happened they had already got their money. I called their office EVERYDAY on my lunch breaks for about 2 weeks before someone finally canceled the policy. They couldnt pro rate anything for me because all those days that i was waiting for them to figure their crap out. Nobody cared and then they acted like i was the one bugging when THEY admitted to their mistake that I had to pay for. So do yourself a favor and save youre money. They are not a trustworthy insurance party and u will not rest assured. They turned out to be a huge headache and they did not want to be held accountable. Besides they use some wierd insurance agencies that i never even heard of. Im happy where im at now they are so much better and treat me way better too. I will not use amax again.
