1 /5 Alex Braunbeck: I contacted Scarry to find what I needed for tax prep, as my previous one retired. They were great on the phone. I called a second time on Friday March 7 asking if I could email my paperwork since I wasnt able to get there before 5. They let me know I could drop off Wednesday by 6 and wed be ok. The following Wednesday comes and they tell me they are no longer taking clients. I wasnt thrilled about the follow through on what they said on the phone. I applied and was granted an extension on my taxes. I called twice the week of March 17 to see if they could take my taxes and finish after the deadline. I have yet to receive a call back. Im sure they are good people, but this was an extremely frustrating experience. I relied on them for tax prep, called and received direction at their request, and they refused to honor it.
