First National Bank - New Castle (PA)

1 /5 G W: Every time I go into this bank its nothing but rude employees and bad experiences. One time I walked up to the teller and she told me she couldnt help me cause she was working the drive thru, then a lady walked in she knew and she is available all of a sudden, meanwhile Im still waiting. Another time I had the corner of a $100 bill ripped off, yet both pieces had matching serial numbers. I was told rudely we cant accept that. So I went to PNC and they had no problem. This place is garbage. I absolutely hate going in there. Not to mention they had a flood like 6 months ago and it stinks, and they still havent fixed it. You would think a bank could afford to fix some drywall, dang!

1 /5 Mike DeSalvo: They only thing good about this bank is that they had heat! I walked into the bank to get a change exchange from 2- $100 bills for 4- $50’s. They would not exchange for me since I was an out of Towner and did not have a account with them. They claimed it was against there policy. So I ask to see a manager. While I sat and waited patiently for 20 minutes. The branch manager said the same thing with out any explanation of “ there policy”... So as I was becoming frustrated from ignorance of my time, I asked to see the written policy. He told me there wasn’t! Wow! This sounds like discrimination to me. Merry Christmas and Have a happy new year. I hope you bank branch does as well as the policy holds out!

1 /5 Zayne Rowland: Staff suddenly has forgotten who I am after showing up to cash my check every Wednesday for over a year and now feels the need to question my identity every week even though it is THE SAME TELLER EVERY TIME. I also have had increasing wait times at the drive-thru in the past month, up to 15 minutes. This has never been a problem here in all the years Ive used FNB. All together, the entire bank has gotten worse in terms of security, efficiency, and customer service, locally and remotely. Ive been considering closing my account for months after a security breach and I believe it is finally time. Good riddance to this God awful chain of banks that probably thinks expansion is helping them when they need to focus on their technology and customer service being good FIRST. I have now learned that the name of the employee that has been my main issue is Tonia (sp?) and Im not the only one. I genuinely hope her employment here ends soon.

2 /5 Donohue Sara: My disabled mom uses this bank for all her banking needs and has for years. Last week she wrote a check for me to cash for her from her checking account. It was written to cash not myself. My mom called the bank 1st to let them know this particular check was for herself and i was coming to cash it because my mom is disabled and just had surgery and couldnt get out of her house for a few weeks. She called first because they normally charge $10 to cash checks if the person cashing the check doesnt have an account there. The manager said to write it out to cash not my name and she would personally put a note on her account to cash it without the charge of 10$. Needless to say this didnt happen when I arrived even after explaining the situation. Plus there was no note on account from manager and manager had left for meeting. I was very unhappy leaving her bank and my mom is going to change banks because of this. What happened to the good old days when businesses went above and beyond for their clients? Charging 10 bucks will not make anyone want to open a new account at your bank. If anything all it did was ensure I never open an account and made a great customer service banks.

5 /5 Amy Davidson: I love the staff here they always have a smile on their faces and ready to work on anything you need!! The tellers are wonderful people!! Working with the public isn’t easy and I admire their dedication and ability to stay focused and positive even on the first of the month!!
