Dollar Bank & Loan Center - Washington (PA)

2 /5 Jon Allen: This bank has technology issues and communication issues. Within the span of two weeks, I had my card locked due to suspicious activity, upon receiving a new card, it had issues after activation, multiple charges for the same purchase, return and refunds could not be processed, and all kinds of miscommunications between customer, branch and card services. Also my, credit card would not show any transactions, yet showing I have a balance to pay, but I cant see what was charged. I cant trust them to handle a few small issues that takes a lot of work on my part to get resolved, how can I trust them with my life savings? Closing my accounts and moving on to a trustworthy bank.

1 /5 Carol-leigh G: Do not go to this bank, do not use this bank. Super long wait time to receive your debit card, I was told somewhere around two weeks maximum? (Business days only) I never received it, they had my complete wrong address typed into the computer, it took me literally 33 days to receive my debit card. And then they do this weird thing when you deposit a check $125 will clear instantly..And then they release only 125 a day until all of it is cleared. I just assume deposit my check On a Friday and have the whole thing clear on a Monday or Tuesday. Customer service line is absolutely useless. The last lady I talked to was beyond rude. The mobile banking app is outdated and glitches. It’s like using an app from the early 2000s. And specifically at this branch, there is a blonde lady who is an absolute hag. Overall terrible customer service, long wait times to receive the debit card (even if yours wasn’t lost in the mail like mine) and the mobile banking app as a joke

1 /5 Walter Moore: Look Im not one to leave bad reviews, but this bank is something else. I had set up my account to wear it couldnt be overdrafted yet my bank had let it overdraft twice so they fixed it both times so I never got to upset over it but this third time was over me ordering tires from Walmart which I thought where paid at the time I had ordered them I couldnt of been more wrong after the tires arrived at Walmart I was charged and even tho I didnt no longer have the funds the bank let the charge go thru anyways now overdrafting my account by a larger amount now there saying Im responsible for paying the back balance even tho my account should of never been aloud to let it go thru so now if I dont pay it the fees and the amount will accumulate rapidly leaving a mark on my credit because of a error on the banks part I will never do banking with this bank ever again.

2 /5 Thomas Petrola: Bank is okay not the best. They say in order to stop overdrafts keep money in your savings so the item that you bought or paid for doesnt overdraft. The money in your savings will take care of it so you dont get a fee. Well thats not true it has happened to me once and they nailed me with the 36 dollar fee, and I had more than enough in my savings. However my mother just got hacked and they stole all her money from her savings and this isnt the first time things like this has happened to her and me as well. I really dont care where I bank but there is a lot they could do better. The app always gives me issue with my password and alot of the time I have to wait a little while before it will let me on the online banking it just gets annoying.

1 /5 L Kalcevic: They don’t have sufficient security on their ATMs. An aide took my father’s bank card and withdraw $500 a day, totaling $70,000. Any other bank would have froze the card. They also have poor loan officers and an online system to view checks. Highly suggest using another bank.
