TD Bank - Carmel Hamlet (NY)

2 /5 Mark Friedman: One of the slowest, least well staffed banks I have ever been to. Wait times are consistently 20 minutes to see a teller. The people are nice and seem to be aware they are understaffed so I give them 2 stars.

5 /5 Blanche Torain: I had a serious issue with my bank account, it was tagged for Identity theft. This took place on the 4th of July weekend. I went in on Saturday the 5th and Matt did all he could to help me but the department that could verify and unlock my account wasnt able to do so until. Monday. First thing in Monday morning l was there. Unfortunately my account was unable to be unlocked due to being flagged, that was for my protection. I can truly say the time patience professionalism and knowledge that Matt showed was unbelievable. He got me set up with my new account transferred my funds explain how to use Zelle and remained so polite and compassionate through the process. Matt represents TD Bank at its Best.

1 /5 R Noboa: I wanted to open a savings account. I was there at 4:20 pm and inside the bank when one lady working there started locking the doors to the bank. I asked her who could help me with opening the account and she said “oh we aren’t doing any more of those today.” I explained I had already been to another branch who was short staffed with no one who could even open the account and they had recommended to go to Carmel branch. This lady didn’t care and stated “People just keep coming in and we can’t just keep helping them!” I was there a full 40 minutes before closing time and she refused to help me. That is NOT “America’s most convenient bank”. Thoroughly dissatisfied with the Carmel branch and will not forget the poor or nonexistent customer service I received.

1 /5 angelika: I had an urgent question regarding an account, and called this branch. Nobody has answered the first time around, so I waited before calling back. When I called back again, someone answered the phone and let me know they were busy and took my name and number down and said they would call me back. I understood its a busy time of year, however I mentioned if they could call me back by end of day or even the following that would be appreciated. I did not hear back the end of day, or the day after. I am glad I am not banking with them anymore because everything in the process of closing my accounts and thereafter has been a nightmare.

1 /5 Lauren Watts: Be careful when you open up an account here because the representatives love to leave out information and lie to your face. Just opened an account and was told the money would be released immediately and now Im broke and cant access the rest of the money spoke to a supervisor and He was no help so beware of this bank because they will rob you and lie straight to your face. Also apparently they dont trust their customers because just being told tonight theres a new to account hold and do this for each check you deposit for a month so good luck trying to get your money from these people theyll take from you no problem but giving you your money yeah theyre not trying to do that
