Several years ago I was swimming in credit card debt I thought I could pay back after I finished college and started my career. A few years in, I realized my careers salary (schoolteacher) was not going to be enough for me to live on and pay back my debts I had accumulated being a single mom and going to school, because of the high interests that would keep coming. It was a huge relief! Unfortunately when I went to get a new apartment it turns out the credit reporting agencies were still holding some of the negative credit card company history against me! I contacted Island Group Partners to tell them about this problem and they immediately went to work for me to help me solve this new problem even though it fell outside of their obligations to me. They went above and beyond to help me when they didnt have to. This just shows what kind of work they do, this is work for improving peoples lives and a much needed service for the many people like me that have willingly let themselves be taken advantage of by huge credit card companies and then are trapped in an abusive relationship with them. Island Group Partners doing this work is so important for many consumers like me that do not feel comfortable navigating the complicated world of credit but are devastatingly impacted in real world ways that hold us back from having the opportunities we deserve.
