Our mother felt a lump in her breast. She went to have it checked and was told that it was benign. Months later, she went back to find out that it was a very aggressive form of breast cancer. One night, I came across the commercial for Porter Law Group. The commercial asked the question my siblings, mother, and I had “Did they catch her cancer in time”? My mother and I called Porter Law Group and was introduced to Mary Langan. I remember our first conversation after she reviewed my mothers documents and how she will take on my mothers case. Mary fought for our mom even when our mom couldnt do it herself. Mary was also very caring, understanding, and patient with myself and my siblings as we had no clue on how the law works, especially in terms of malpractice. My mother passed away after having to fight this terrible disease. This still didnt stop Mary from fighting. With such dedication and knowledge and fierce determination, Mary and we came to a settlement. We are satisfied with how our mother was represented. Most importantly how Mary made sure our mother was given the most dignified amount, although money is not worth the life lost. When knowing something is not right and your loved one passes on, its hard to grieve and try to move forward. However, Porter Law Group and Mary gave us the chance to grieve and heal without the expenses left behind. We will forever be grateful for them. Whenever I hear of someone going through similar situations, I always refer to Porter Law and Mary. They will fight for you even when you feel you cant.
