5 /5 E A: Mr. Kenney was a tremendous help during a very stressful situation involving my daughter’s apartment lease in Long Island. She was moving from out of state and signed a lease after briefly viewing the apartment, which had no electricity at the time—making it difficult to fully assess the condition. Upon moving in and using her phone flashlight, she discovered a serious roach infestation, a foul odor coming from the refrigerator, and loud noise traveling through a vent from a neighboring unit. It was immediately clear the apartment was uninhabitable. Despite reaching out to fourteen law offices in the area, Mr. Kenney was the only attorney who responded promptly. He took the time to review the lease and understand the situation thoroughly. Based on the lease terms and what had transpired, he reassured me that the lease was not enforceable under those conditions. His expertise and calm guidance provided immense relief, especially since I was unable to be there in person to help my daughter. 1 /5 Management LenFlash.com: Paul is a horrible attorney. I hired him and paid an upfront fee to review a commercial lease involving a commitment of $3.7 million in payments. Paul reviewed the contract, found a phrase he pointed out to the landlord, got a definition from them—but never incorporated it into the lease. That oversight has now cost me an additional $100,000. Lawyers are hired to protect their clients and provide strong, informed advice. However, Paul didn’t even review the final lease before signing. He simply told me, “Here is the final version,” without verifying the terms. He blamed me, saying it was my responsibility to review the lease. I don’t know what I paid him for. His incompetence is ridiculous, and I will be reporting him to the Bar Association.
