5 /5 Elizabeth Reilly: Amazing, professional, caring staff, from the volunteers to the paralegals and attorneys. My family had an urgent situation, and they made a spot in their busy schedule to help us. They also drove an hour out of there way to go to my mother’s hospital bedside, instead of telling us to come when she gets home. In addition to completing the necessary documents, they gave us a lot of important information and suggestions to help us. They were so kind.

5 /5 D Maldonado: I am greatful for this service that is available for for the low income which in times like these so much poverty we r not forgotten our voices are heard. I cannot thank enough for this service and Attorney Alicia Berger whom has been amazing assisting me and guiding me like an angel through a tenant/ landlord issue that was consuming me in depression and i felt alone till Attorney Alicia Berger was placed in my path. Although my income did not qualify she guided me via phone every single step of the way, I wasnt alone. Miss/ Mrs. Berger i cant thank you enough, if not for u, ur proffesionalism, dedication, the time spent on the phone making sure ,i got this , u couldnt represent me but because of ur dedication and ur perseverance i got strength and courage, it was as if u were there in court with me positive outcome ty your the Best

2 /5 Shannon Morrison: My daughter and I are fighting for custody of her 2 kids. She qualifies for a public defender however, because Im a grandparent, I dont. So, I called legal aid. They told me that they cannot help me because they are helping my daughter so its a conflict of interest. How is it that legal aid will help people who qualify for a public defender? Now I have to figure out how to pay for a family court attorney even though financially I qualify for a public defender Im not entitled and my daughter who is entitled decided to go to legal aid instead so now I cant. I honestly think that they should help people who dont qualify for a public defender and financially cannot afford $2500 retainer for an attorney.
