5 /5 Michael Cioto: I hired John Kelly 2 times and he did what a lawyer is suppose to do unlike court appointed attorneys because they work with the judge best lawyer I ever had.

1 /5 RJ Long: Mr. Kelly is by far the most unprofessional, rudest and least helpful lawyer I’ve ever been unfortunate enough to encounter. He does not return phone calls or emails. When I asked about my matter he was dismissive, said he doesn’t need to let me read the agreement and that if there are issues after it’s signed by the judge then ‘we can figure it out’. The judge had to rewrite the entire agreement herself due to his incompetence. Avoid this lawyer. If he is assigned to your case you should seek a new lawyer. He cares nothing about his client or the children in a family court case.

1 /5 Kim Zayas: This man cares about nothing but trying to move up in the legal system in Sullivan county New York.. so he will throw his own clients under a bus… even if you pay him.. he will stop taking your money just to show you how much he doesn’t care about defending you and just start helping out his fellow employers ( other lawyers, the judge,).. because he’s hoping they’ll help him out one day to get a better job.. so sad!! Any five star ratings you read on John Kelly is from places he’s eats at and people he knows personally!! Not from people he actually defended or represented in court.. especially Family Court.. he made sure the other party would would win just for me to loss my kids to a person who was using my kids to get me back into a abusive relationship, now years later!! After my kids were used as pawns and he allowed it!! They are with me!! Don’t wast your time on this low life for your life and your kids life..
