1 /5 Amy Mundy: When I tell you I’ve never felt so disrespected by an attorney at a law firm as I did today !! Anneliese R Aliasso talked to me with such disrespect I was floored and cried for 20 minutes after I hung up on her due to her lack of consideration and compassion and the disrespect she gave me from the start of the call .
My father passed away October of 2024 and Del Plato Casey law firm took his estate for probate I am a beneficiary and received a letter from Anneliese saying .. it stated please sign the receipt and release before a notary public and return the original to me in the close postage paid envelope. Once received by me, I will direct Nate to issue the distribution check to you in the amount of . I received a text from my brother stating that we have to wait for ALL beneficiaries letters to be in before disbursement is made. So I called and left a detailed message for Anneliese to return my call for I had some questions , when I tell you her tone and disrespect was from the beginning I’m not lying I asked the 1st question and asked why does the letter state one thing and your doing another and I read the letter to her , and her response to me was “ we tell all the beneficiaries that we’re waiting for all beneficiary paperwork to be in before we dispense money , I said ok understood but this is the first I’ve heard of this , she said with attitude , well it stated in the letter .
At this point I’m getting angry and I have no reason why I’m shaking my head like why is she talking to me this way. I said .. ok I’ve read the letter snd no where does it state beneficiaries will wait till all beneficiary paperwork is handed in , so can you explain then why my letter states once you receive my nortorized letter you would reach out to Nathaniel to distribute the check , she said that is how we do things here and if you don’t like it, hire a lawyer and argue she said something but at this point in the conversation I was in tears and hung up I could not take anymore of her disrespect and lack of . I went to the bathroom and cried for 20 minutes and still have yet to get an answer to a simple question that I had . I will be reporting this business to the BBB and I’m writing a grieve with the NEW YORK STATE BAR ASSOCIATION for how she treated and talked to me !!
