Initially, they promised to go above and beyond to support me, but once I paid them, the quality of service drastically declined. Instead of being handled by a knowledgeable and experienced attorney, my case was handed off to Attorney Leah moalemi who clearly lacked sufficient experience in family law. Her guidance was inadequate, and I ultimately had to no knowledge attorney to take over my case. Leah was insistent on forcing my case to go to trial, demanding an additional $20,000, and was unwilling to explore options that could have resolved the matter without the cost and stress of a trial. She also refused to extend the timeline to settle the case more reasonably. This approach felt more like a tactic to extract more money rather than a strategy rooted in my best interests. Despite paying an additional $5,000 at the last minute, very little progress was made on my case. When I asked for a refund for the lack of work performed, my request was denied. In my experience, Barrows Levy focuses more on marketing and commercials than on actually delivering competent legal representation. Once you’re in, they pass you off to less experienced attorneys, and the service suffers. I would not recommend this firm to anyone seeking professional, reliable legal help. Don’t be fooled by the big name—there are many dedicated, effective attorneys out there who don’t rely on advertising and actually care about their clients.

5 /5 Samuel Tankel: I recently just had a several year divorce process or battle concluded. I was referred to Itamar Levy by a coworker. My only mistake was not hiring Itamar when my divorce first started. I started my divorce with a different lawyer and law firm. My previous lawyer was not communicating with me unless it was the day before my court appearances, reacting to everything my wifes attorney was doing instead of being proactive and simply not responsive and not listening to my objectives. If anyone is reading this and this sounds familiar, take my advice and contact and ask for Itamar. From the first conversation I had with him, I knew I needed him on my side. On our first appearance in front of the judge, his presence and confidence in the courtroom really set the tone for my case. He is so calm and methodical and reaponsive it made me calmer throughout the process. I normally dont write reviews but felt I had to for what he has done for me. Itamar still even calls me after just to see how I am doj g, truly a genuine and nice person. I have recommended two of my family friends to Itamar and they say the same thing about him. If you are reading this, Barrows Levy is the best divorce and family law firm on Long Island. My friend is currently using them for their custody battle in Queens and are having the same experience. I dont refer professionals to my family, friends and colleagues lightly as it is a reflection upon me.
