Fee-Only firms are not the same as Fee-Based firms. Fee-Based firms can take a percentage of your money and are also allowed to get kickbacks from funds they put you in. A major conflict of interest. Ive always been a stickler on fees, whether upfront fees or internal fund fees. Zhang provided me the lowest fees in both areas while best addressing my financial goals.
