1 /5 Sandie Noneyourbusiness: If I could give zero stars, I would. I paid $5,000 to Romelzy Willis for representation in Allen Parish and got nothing but neglect and incompetence.
• He never returned my calls despite repeated attempts.
• He didn’t even know my court date — I had to tell him.
• When he finally showed up, he stuck his head in the courtroom, dumped me on another attorney, and told me to meet him at his office afterward. I went there and sat waiting, only to find out he wasn’t coming.
I could have gotten into pretrial diversion on my own — they offer it to everyone with a first offense. I am not an idiot. Willis did absolutely nothing for me. He did not advocate, he did not communicate, and he did not represent me in any meaningful way.
This isn’t even about the money anymore. It’s about a corrupt parish where the system is rotten from top to bottom. Lawyers like Willis are right in the middle of it, taking money while doing nothing for the people who trusted them.
I will never set foot in this area again for the rest of my life. Frankly, I’d rather drive through Russia.
Romelzy, you can sit here and type long paragraphs on Google, but you couldn’t answer a single damn phone call when I needed you. That says it all!
You keep talking about “serious charges” like we don’t both know it was a joke from the start. A 45-year friendship argument turned into a criminal case because of lies and misinformation. I’ll give you the “victim’s” phone number and you can call her yourself. She just left my house. Even our parents knew not to get in our squabbles but yall had to turn it into a case bc that’s how everyone gets paid in Allen Parish! You filed for discovery? Discovery is not representation — it’s literally the bare minimum any lawyer would have done.
And let’s be clear: I was never happy with your so-called work. I was left sitting in your office waiting on you like a fool while you didn’t even show. That’s not advocacy, that’s neglect. Stop trying to rewrite history and act like I should be grateful for the crumbs you call legal defense.
You want the truth? You didn’t fight for me. You didn’t show up. You didn’t care. You took my money, and then you vanished — until now, when your reputation’s on the line. That’s the only time you’ve found your voice.
So spare me the “God bless you” sign-off. God may bless me, but He’s watching you too. And He knows what you did — or better yet, what you didn’t do.
