1 /5 Tim Berg: Lazy with a major lack of communication. Cuts off communication after saying he will give money back. Money never given back. Around April 2022 I had received paperwork from my kids, mom saying she was bringing me to court for child support and custody in Louisiana. I live in Colorado. I went on the Internet and found Wayne Bush. After talking with Taylor Bush and having a brief conversation/consultation with Wayne Bush , I would hire his services. He was the fifth or the sixth person that I talk to, and sounded very reasonable and very professional. The retainer was paid in May and we met face-to-face for the first time in June when I had a court appearance. Talked for 30 to 45 minutes at that time where I told him, I want to see the birth certificate. It’s been an issue, besides the point. The birth certificate was really the only thing I wanted, and even said if I could get a copy of the birth certificate, I would be completely compliant and not a pain in the butt. She drugged her feet and never filled out her paperwork so time just went by. After a year and a half or so of him being my lawyer, the court case was dismissed since she was moving before the next hearing. Year and a half later still have not seen a birth certificate. I briefly talked with exam in July after it was dismissed, when he said the other lawyer had called him and asked about paternity, I asked him yet again about the birth certificate. Call call after the case was ended and he made one appearance in court with me and spent approximately 15 minutes on the phone with me. I asked for a breakdown of work that he had completed and a bill. He replied with a text message saying I will give you 1/3 of your retainer back, and the rest is a flat rate. Again, I asked him about the birth certificate and told him I would be OK with 1/3 of the retainer if I could get a copy or at least a picture of the birth certificate I have been asking for for over a year. At that point all communication stopped. So after a year and a half I still haven’t seen a birth certificate. I have in writing from him that he will pay me 1/3 of my retainer back the Friday following the text message. And after 60 days, he still hasn’t made good on his word even though he has been given two different methods of acceptable payments that he approved. Overall, if I can give him a lower rating, I would! Expecting to take 2/3 of someone’s money, and doing a little to no work as well as not being willing or able to provide anything in regards to work he has done. Saying he will give money back and then goes radio silent… Stay away from this one!
