1 /5 Eric F Wright Sr: I regret waiting so long to write this review. Nghana is a horrible attorney. She lost on a routine exception in my child custody case; to a pro se defendant because she came to court totally unprepared. I also have a law degree. Nghana did not tell me about the exception until the day of the hearing. At the hearing, she got whip badly. Then she tried to cover her mistake by writing an appeal for free. Timing, however, is everything in continuous child custody matters. Nghana’s incompetence wasted nearly an entire year in my child custody case. During that time, the mother of my children was able to rave-up parental alienation tactics. I paid Nghana a $3500 flat fee retainer because I had the added expense of flying to court. When it was time to refill my child custody documents, Nghana started gaslighting. That flat-fee retainer was long gone and, she wanted more money, so she started telling lies to frustrate me to have cause to withdraw from my case. She would say, ”I will file on this day.” When the day came, oh, something came up, I will file on another day. Then she started with, ”I may have to withdraw because you want to do this and that. I can’t get you back into court on that timetable I have to withdraw, or I can not/will not do this and that; then, if you dont want to follow my advice, direct me to withdraw. Then she started accusing me of being misogynistic and threatening--dog-whistling that I was abusive to her like I was being to the person alienating me from my children. Nghan is manipulative. She dog whistles threats, fear, misogyny towards men using her gender and black male stereotypes, much like Amy Cooper did to the bird watcher Christopher Cooper, to cheat the system against men and get her way. Twice I flew from New York to court only to find out there was no service on the defendant or she did not show up in Court because she failedto keep me informed. Because of Nghana, I have not talked to my three children in almost two years. All the time, money, and energy I wasted on Nghana completely depleted me. I filed a bar complaint against her and my judge. I sent Nghana a courtesy copy of the judicial complaint I filed before a bar complaint against her, and she filed a police report alleging harassment. This lady’s representation in my child custody case was truly unbelievable, and I wouldnt recommend any man ever use her as an attorney and beware if you ever have to interact with her professionally.
