DeLana Halbert I was referred to BFCU DeRidder by a very respectable former colleague. The DeRidder branch, under the superb supervision of Dennis Squires, has made my banking experience exceptional. I trust them implicitly, and I know I’d not be afforded the same service with any of my current local banks. Most recently, Tina Rhodes helped me with a commercial loan, and she worked at a timely professional pace that actually satisfied my husband and myself. I really appreciate efficiency, and they’ve all done a great job.

Vee “Vee” Mr. Pat is a no nonsense old-school lender. And his wife, Ms. Jeanette, adds to the wholesome feel of dealing with ma&pop shop.If you dont like them its more than likely a "you" problem. Be honest, be on time, and theyll be fair. Communication is key when dealing with any lenders. I have had multiple loans since 2015 with Domes and they are the only lender I respect and trust. While the overall apr leans to the highside, the culture is worth it. I lost my job and they helped explain options to take. Youre getting more than a loan when you visit Domes. And I would recommend them to anyone, even my own mother!

Tanya Marie Blues Check Cashing advertises that this agency cashes checks, however, when I called to ask if they would cash my student loan refund check, I was told they "Are not taking new customers at this time." If you advertise that you are in the business of cashing checks, that is what you are supposed to do. I feel like Blues Check Cashing is falsely advertising their alleged services. The man I spoke with was polite enough and said it would not ordinarily be a problem to cash a check for the amount I had, but he had more than he could presently handle. I have no idea what that even means, and all he said was, "it is what it is." Extremely unprofessional and should not advertise to cash checks if he will not do what he advertises to do!!!
