kiki b I had got served papers from my mortgage company by the sheriff department on Friday. This packet of paper work stated that I had to be present in court in June. After calling my mortgage company and calling the lawyers who sent the paperwork I still had no resolutions as to why I was being summoned to court. So Monday I called and spoke with a lawyer that was recommended to me but they were out of district and after explaining my situation all that lawyer said was get a lawyer in my area. I was so frustrated . Thank goodness I called the cook law firm . The nice person that answered the phone quickly got me connected to Michelle cook who patiently listened to my story and was able to give me feedback and options of the next steps I needed to take. She took the confusion out of the legal jargon and paperwork. She explained everything in simple terms so that I new what to do next. She was professional and courteous. I definitely would recommend them to handle your needs.

Randal Coon Wayne Webb handled my Fathers Estate for me, and ancillary proceedings in the Estate of a more complex estate of an uncle who died without children. I found him to be very polite, professional, and well versed in the law that he needed to know in order to do the work properly. He has access to Parish Property records on his computer, which also helped identify unknown issues for us. His fee was very reasonable, in my opinion, and he was more than willing to work with us on a timely basis. I would use him again, for successions or other work, and would recommend him to my friends or family.
