1 /5 Nicole Adams: I used Jennifer Thompson bc I knew her on a personal level for a couple years. I felt confident in her and the fact that I was making a huge life change with her help but boy was I wrong. I shouldve done better research on her before entering into a legal matter and signing a contract. I felt she was lazy, blew me off, did not follow up, she didnt return my calls after 3 attempts, did not fight for me as a person/ client and didnt care about my case bc she already had my money upfront. I paid my retainer which went to a bunch of back and forth paper work and a couple court appearances. I voiced my opinions on how I was treated with 3 people in the office and also asked to speak with the owner, Michelle Schafer, but was denied twice bc that is not Jennifers boss and she just works along side her. After my divorce was final I received a final bill in the mail for over $800. I gave up almost everything to have my divorce finalized quickly to be able to move on and end the crazy amount of lawyer fees for things that I couldve done on my own. Moral of the story I spent almost $3500 on some expensive paperwork and emails with very little in return!!
