5 /5 Mike K: We were very blessed to be referred to Dan O’Brian after my wife’s sister was killed by a drunk driver. As you can imagine, this was a very difficult and confusing time for us. We were getting calls from the drunk driver’s insurance company who wanted to pay as little as possible. We were also getting calls from her sister’s creditors, from medical facilities who treated her sister and even from an estranged half-brother, all who were seeking financial gain. We immediately felt comfortable with Dan, and he took plenty of time with us to listen to our concerns, understand our situation and then explained the issues and challenges we would be facing. He then clearly outlined exactly how he could help us and what the process would be moving forward. He also made sure we understood the rate structure (he gets a percentage of the settlement or nothing if there is no money received). He was with us every step of the way and took the time thru out the process to keep us informed, educate us regarding some very specific legal nuances that were specific to our case, and even provided comfort when we were nervous or upset about the situation, we were in. Just to be clear, Dan was NEVER the cause of us being nervous or upset, that came from all the people looking for a piece of the settlement pie. Dan maintained excellent communications and was easily accessible throughout the entire process. Once we hired Dan, we no longer had to talk to the insurance company or any of the others that were looking for money. That was wonderful! There is no question that we ended up significantly better financially than we would have without Dan’s help (even after his percentage was taken out). We 100% recommend Dan O’Brien!
